"I believe Candy Kittens can lead the way to a greener future in our industry"
Ed Williams, Managing Director & Co-Founder
Candy Kittens are yummy cat-head shaped, sugar coated, chewy sweets. They come in a variety of flavours including: blueberry, cherry and strawberry. Candy Kittens started in 2012 as an idea, by Jamie Laing, to open a sweet shop for adults. He wanted the shop to be fashionable and cool, but he couldn't think of what sweets would fit his theme. Working with Ed Williams, Candy Kittens were developed as the fashionable, funky, cool adult sweet for London.
A Greener Future
Candy Kittens aim to be a sustainable, planet friendly brand, to be responsible in how they operate and to leave the planet a better place then they found it. They are working towards this by using carbon neutral production, recyclable packaging, not using palm oil and no gelatine.
Going forward Candy Kittens want to do more, in the quest to become a force for good they are aiming to become a completely carbon neutral business, to have the full range of their sweets vegan friendly, the Eton Mess flavour contain beeswax, and they also want the the business to be a Certified B Corporation. B Corp Certification is a certification that measures a company’s entire social and environmental performance. B Corp Certification proves your business is meeting the highest standards of verified performance, including how materials are sourced, charities that the business supports and how it takes care of its employees.
